An Analyst's take:
U.S. Department of Interior/Bureau of Indian Affairs

PC Week - October 5, 1998
IT managers with a queasy feeling about their Y2K efforts would do well to check out an alternative approach to the fix, such as Millennium Solution, from Data Integrity Inc., of Waltham, Mass., according to Carl Greiner, Y2K analyst at Meta Group Inc., in Stamford, Conn.

"There are plenty of solutions out there that do remediation by checking the code, but this one does it differently, by using a mathematical equation. It's a different approach that gives you a second check and can fix your code as well," Greiner says.

As the year 2000 closes in, Greiner says IT managers are well-advised to make a series of checks on their code work. "Many times this code work has been done by outsiders, so with a tool like Millennium Solution, you can check that code work using a different formula. When you want to validate something like that, it helps to have a different tool to check your work against," he says.
